Project Brief

The Balipara Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to environmental conservation and community empowerment, approached us to create a new digital platform that would serve as an informational hub and a dynamic engagement tool for their stakeholders.

One key challenge with the Foundation's previous website was the need for a cohesive and user-friendly event management system. The information about their flagship event, the Eastern Himalayan Naturenomics™ Forum (EHNF), was not well-organized, making it difficult for visitors to learn about and register for the conference.

The Foundation's team recognized the need for a more robust and scalable website that would empower them to showcase their initiatives effectively, drive event registrations, and facilitate online donations.

The website was meticulously crafted to address the Foundation's needs for a robust online presence. Key features include:

  • Interactive Maps: Showcasing the Foundation’s project locations and impacts, along with various nature initiatives. 
  • EHNF Dedicated Pages: We developed well-structured pages for the Eastern Himalayan Naturenomics™ Forum (EHNF), the largest nature conference hosted by the Foundation. These pages were meticulously designed to archive past event data and showcase current information, including registrations, agenda, concept notes, and a media gallery.
  • Donation Page: Simplifying the process of making donations.
  • Mobile-First Design: Ensuring optimal user experience across all devices.
  • SEO Optimization: Enhancing online visibility and reach.

These features significantly improved user experience and engagement, making the website an effective tool for the Foundation's outreach and fundraising efforts.

The new website has been a resounding success, driving significant improvements in event engagement, online visibility, and fundraising.

For the Foundation's first-ever online EHNF in 2020, the dedicated event pages and streamlined registration process led to a remarkable turnout. The event boasted over 120 speakers from different countries and more than 1,460 registered guests - a substantial increase of 35% compared to previous in-person editions.

The website's improved user experience and search engine optimization have also contributed to a 25% increase in online donations and a 35% rise in website traffic since launch.
